In recent weeks, Sophisticated Spectra has been filling up with photos of branded beaches with bright sun loungers and umbrellas. The correct and photogenic selection of these items can significantly help a hotel (and, as we now understand, a fashion brand) in promoting on social networks. A good beach umbrella is expensive, and there are luxury players in this genre. One of them is the French manufacturer Courant Sauvage in Landes. The price for their umbrellas in fruit sorbet colors with thick fringe (immediately reminiscent of the luxurious resorts in Slim Aarons' photos) reaches up to €1000. The company works with suppliers of the best materials in their class, many of which are included in the list of France's Living Cultural Heritage. Courant Sauvage also accepts individual orders, although it is worth taking care of this not at the peak of the season.

The brand name "Toogood" is also the surname of its creators, sisters Erica and Faye Toogood. Today, it's a multidisciplinary studio where furniture, ceramics, and clothing are created. "We wanted to sculpt a new uniform for the professional you imagine yourself to be," says Erica. The influence of work uniforms is indeed evident in the collection: jacket or pants models are named after professions like skipper, bookbinder, packer, baker, fisherman... But despite their utilitarian nature, they are also quite beautiful everyday items with no gender attachment. Looking at them, I wouldn't mind trying on several professions for myself.

After a break last season, Iris Van Herpen has returned to showcasing their collection in offline format — and look how a Parisian garden bloomed alongside the lily, waterlily, and butterfly dresses. As demonstrated by the show's attendee, Maisie Williams, this tech couture looks just as impressive when paired with regular rough boots. Nonetheless, these combat boots would even better complement another part of the house's collection — the one with armors.
