The virtue of constancy is a grand thing, and a significant luxury in the fashion world that few can afford. Hermès and Véronique Nichanian can. Along with Lemaire, this is the best collection in Paris. I highly recommend watching the show video - it calms and uplifts better than any mindfulness practices.

French manufacturers Chapal and Kelton have unveiled a jointly created hand-wound chronograph named 1972. The watch is equipped with the Seagull St 1901 calibre, a movement with an interesting history. In the 1940s, the Swiss company Venus developed calibre 175. However, in the mid-1950s, the equipment was sold to the Chinese, who were keen to produce quality watches for pilots. The Chinese company was named Tianjin Watch Factory, and in 1974 it was renamed Seagull. The majority of their production was quartz mechanisms, but with the resurgence of interest in mechanical watches and their own heritage, the factory revived the Venus 175 calibre, renaming it Seagull St 1901.

The color black, now synonymous with chic sophistication, wasn't always seen in such a fashionable light. The brand name "Toogood" is also the surname of its creators, sisters Erica and Faye Toogood. Today, it's a multidisciplinary studio where furniture, ceramics, and clothing are created. "We wanted to sculpt a new uniform for the professional you imagine yourself to be," says Erica. The influence of work uniforms is indeed evident in the collection: jacket or pants models are named after professions like skipper, bookbinder, packer, baker, fisherman... But despite their utilitarian nature, they are also quite beautiful everyday items with no gender attachment. Looking at them, I wouldn't mind trying on several professions for myself.

After a break last season, Iris Van Herpen has returned to showcasing their collection in offline format — and look how a Parisian garden bloomed alongside the lily, waterlily, and butterfly dresses. The models, adorned with trending double arrows on their eyelids (similar to those we saw on Lily-Rose Depp in "The Idol"), strode in 3D-printed boots. As demonstrated by the show's attendee, Maisie Williams, this tech couture looks just as impressive when paired with regular rough boots. Nonetheless, these combat boots would even better complement another part of the house's collection — the one with armors.
