Delta Air Lines, one of the largest airlines in the USA and globally, has unveiled a photo of the prototype for its new uniform, developed by Gap Inc. The news is particularly noteworthy for two reasons: firstly, Delta has decided to return to its traditional colors of navy blue and burgundy, a shift from the previous purple uniforms designed by Zac Posen. Secondly, the fabrics used for the new clothing line are certified with OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, ensuring they are free from harmful and toxic substances. This move comes after Delta faced lawsuits claiming that Posen’s uniforms caused allergies.

Interestingly, Delta is not rushing to dress its employees in the new attire. It is reported that the airline will first conduct thorough testing of the new uniforms and gather feedback before a full rollout. Having been significantly burnt by the previous experience, Delta is now cautiously proceeding to avoid any potential issues.
