Mister Donut and Gion Tsujiri Tea Collaborate on New Matcha Donut Collection

Mister Donut and Gion Tsujiri Tea, a well-known matcha specialist from Uji, Kyoto, have joined forces to create a new collection of matcha donuts that will be available in Japan starting March 27th.
The collection features five different donuts, each with its own unique flavor and texture.
- Uji Matcha Pon de Ring: This donut is made with Uji matcha dough and coated in a matcha chocolate glaze.
- Uji Matcha Old Fashion: This donut is made with Uji matcha dough and topped with a matcha glaze and white chocolate chips.
- Uji Matcha Cream: This donut is made with a custard filling and topped with a matcha whipped cream and a matcha chocolate glaze.
- Uji Matcha French: This donut is made with a light and airy dough and topped with a matcha glaze and matcha sugar sprinkles.
- Uji Matcha Filled: This donut is made with a Uji matcha filling and topped with a matcha glaze.
The donuts will be available for purchase individually or as a set. A limited-edition paper bag will also be available for purchase with the set.
This is not the first time Mister Donut and Gion Tsujiri Tea have collaborated on a matcha donut collection. In 2023, the two companies released a collection of four matcha donuts that were a huge hit with customers.
